WAMM 2019 proudly supports the Global Capnography Project in Africa and invites delegates to donate to this worthwhile project;
The Global Capnography Project (GCAP) is an initiative started in 2016 in order to introduce capnography to low-income countries. The aim was to measure the prevalence of capnography in the operating theatres or in intensive care units (ICU), and determine whether its introduction was feasible and could improve the early recognition of critical airway incidents in a low-income country. This is the first project to do this and WAMM 2019 wishes to support the ongoing work of this project in Africa
